Doing a home renovation a few blocks away. We tried this diner, GREAT place to eat. Renovation is done, and we still go back for lunch there. Try it out.

Small town family run and loved by all whom walk through the door.... . Excellent home cooked food but even better was the atmosphere.. not 5 star dining but a great meal with * family*...

So first off, we get there at 11:45, we walk into Linda Kay's, and they said we had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. Then they sat a table before us even though they got there 10 minutes later than us. When we were finally seated we order our food without any problems. We had to wait for at least an hour just for our food. People that came 20 minutes later than us got their food 15 minutes earlier than us. We considered just walking out several times. When we got our food they messed up our entire order and it wasn't even good! It was so bad and unsatisfying it made me so angry. I have never been so angry about eating food. And when we left they locked the doors on us! My colleagues and I agreed that we would never come back.
Overall: It was just horrible. I've been home for over an hour and I'm still fuming. I got out of there at 1:30. I waited for an hour and a half to get bad food. I suggested that we go to Steve's diner several times but my colleagues said they wanted to stay. Steve's diner has really good food, its really fast, and it's bread is so good and fresh from Nation Bakery. I highly suggest you GO TO STEVES over this place. Going there makes me never want to eat food again.

Great food, friendly staff and fair prices. That's all you can ask from a diner. I recommend the eggs benny.
